Description
Buy the Ryzen 5 RTX 5070 gaming PC from Elite Gaming PCs and get a performance-first desktop built around the part that matters most for gaming: a Zotac Gaming Twin Edge OC GeForce RTX 5070 12GB graphics card. It is paired with an AMD Ryzen 5 5600 processor, hand-built in Gregory Hills, NSW and tested before it leaves our bench.
Rather than spending more on a newer motherboard and memory platform, this system uses a proven B550 and DDR4 configuration. That keeps the overall cost in check while still fitting RTX 5070 graphics, making it a GPU-focused build for gamers who care about performance today.

What Can the Ryzen 5 RTX 5070 Gaming PC Run?
The Ryzen 5 RTX 5070 gaming PC is designed for serious 1440p gaming. The GeForce RTX 5070 and its 12GB of video memory give you a higher-performance graphics card without stepping up to the cost of RTX 5080 systems, and the same hardware makes an excellent high-refresh 1080p machine.
Fast competitive shooters and esports titles such as Counter-Strike 2, Valorant, Fortnite, Apex Legends, Overwatch 2 and Rainbow Six Siege pair perfectly with a 144Hz to 240Hz monitor. Larger AAA releases, open-world adventures, RPGs and sim racing look detailed at high settings, with the 12GB frame buffer helping with high-resolution textures.
The RTX 5070 supports NVIDIA DLSS 4 and ray tracing, so you can enable realistic lighting and reflections in supported games while keeping motion fluid. Its dedicated NVIDIA video encoder also lets you stream or record gameplay for Twitch, YouTube or Discord with very little impact on the game.
This Ryzen 5 RTX 5070 gaming PC is not just for games. It handles photo editing in Photoshop and Lightroom, video editing in Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve, 3D modelling in Blender and GPU-accelerated AI tools for image generation. Built-in Wi-Fi and fast storage also make it a quick, reliable computer for study, office work and browsing.
Inside the Ryzen 5 RTX 5070 Gaming PC
AMD Ryzen 5 5600 processor
The AMD Ryzen 5 5600 is a capable gaming and general-purpose processor on the mature AM4 platform. It runs modern games while background apps such as Discord, game launchers and a web browser stay open. Choosing this platform keeps the motherboard and memory affordable, so more of the build budget goes towards the graphics card.
Zotac GeForce RTX 5070 12GB graphics
The centrepiece of the Ryzen 5 RTX 5070 gaming PC is the Zotac Gaming Twin Edge OC GeForce RTX 5070 12GB. It uses NVIDIA’s Blackwell architecture with support for DLSS 4 and ray tracing, making it the single biggest contributor to gaming performance in this build. You can learn more about the range on NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 50 Series page.
16GB RGB memory and 1TB SSD
16GB of G.Skill Trident Z RGB DDR4-3200 CL16 memory is installed as 2 × 8GB for dual-channel operation, keeping games and multitasking responsive while adding visible RGB lighting inside the case. A Lexar NS100 1TB 2.5-inch SSD gives you space for your operating system, applications and game library, with much faster load times than a mechanical hard drive.
Cooling, case and power
Instead of a basic stock-style cooler, the processor is cooled by a Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE ARGB, a substantial dual-tower air cooler with ARGB lighting. The Gigabyte B550M DS3H AC R2 Micro ATX AM4 motherboard provides the platform, and the system includes Wi-Fi connectivity.
The components are housed in an MSI MAG Forge 130A Airflow ATX Mid Tower, a practical gaming chassis focused on airflow. Power comes from a SilverStone ATTIS 650R 650W 80+ Bronze ATX power supply, giving the Ryzen 5 RTX 5070 gaming PC efficient and stable power.

Ryzen 5 RTX 5070 Gaming PC FAQs
Is the Ryzen 5 RTX 5070 gaming PC good for 1440p gaming?
Yes. It is designed for 1440p, with the RTX 5070 and 12GB of video memory running modern games at high settings. DLSS 4 can lift frame rates further in supported games, and it also suits a high-refresh 1080p monitor.
Why does this build use DDR4 memory?
It is intentional. A Ryzen 5 5600, B550 motherboard and DDR4 memory cost less than a newer DDR5 combination, which allows the RTX 5070 to fit into the build. For gaming, the graphics card has the larger effect on performance.
Does this gaming PC have Wi-Fi?
Yes. Wi-Fi is included, so you can connect wirelessly if a wired Ethernet connection is not practical where you game.
Does it have RGB lighting?
Yes. The G.Skill Trident Z RGB memory and the Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE ARGB cooler both add lighting inside the case.
Can I upgrade it later?
Yes. It uses standard desktop components, including an ATX mid-tower case and a 650W power supply, so parts can be replaced or upgraded as your needs grow.
