What Can the RTX 5060 Gaming PC Run?
This RTX 5060 gaming PC is tuned for 1080p, the resolution most PC gamers still play at. Competitive titles such as Fortnite, Valorant, Counter-Strike 2, Apex Legends and Rocket League are an ideal match for a high-refresh 144Hz or 165Hz monitor, giving you the responsive feel that matters in online matches.
Newer AAA games run smoothly at 1080p with sensible high settings. The GeForce RTX 5060 supports NVIDIA DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation as well as ray tracing, so you can switch on modern lighting and reflections while keeping gameplay fluid.
Because the RTX 5060 gaming PC also handles video playback, light photo and video editing and streaming software with ease, it doubles as a capable everyday computer for study, work and home use.
Inside the RTX 5060 Gaming PC
Here is what each part of the build brings to your desk, and why we chose it.
AMD Ryzen 5 5600 processor
Six cores and twelve threads give this budget build plenty of speed for gaming while Discord, a browser and background apps run at the same time. The Ryzen 5 5600 boosts up to 4.4GHz and stays cool under the included AMD Wraith Stealth cooler.
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 8GB graphics
The graphics card is the heart of any gaming desktop. The RTX 5060 brings NVIDIA’s latest Blackwell architecture, DLSS 4 and ray tracing to an affordable price point. You can read more about the whole range on NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 50 Series page.
16GB DDR4 memory and 1TB NVMe SSD
16GB of Corsair DDR4 3200MHz memory keeps games and apps responsive, while the 1TB NVMe SSD loads Windows and your games quickly with room for a healthy library. Both are easy to expand later as your needs grow.
Case, cooling and power
The Cougar MX360 ARGB mid-tower pairs a tempered glass side panel with addressable RGB lighting, so the build looks as good as it plays. An MSI MAG 650W 80+ Bronze power supply delivers stable, efficient power with headroom for future upgrades.
